Job Summary: We are seeking an Environmental Engineer with experience in the mining sector to manage and monitor environmental aspects of exploration and mining projects in Peru. Key Highlights: 1. Coordinate and supervise environmental monitoring and field activities. **Job Summary** We are looking for an Environmental Engineer with experience in the mining sector to join our team and support environmental management for exploration and mining projects across various regions of Peru. This position combines technical and field work, including environmental compliance, monitoring, permit support, and environmental documentation management. We seek a proactive, organized, and self-motivated individual capable of managing responsibilities with minimal supervision, and available to travel and work in remote and high-altitude areas when required. **Main Responsibilities** * Manage and monitor environmental aspects of mining and exploration projects. * Ensure compliance with applicable Peruvian environmental regulations for the mining sector. * Support the preparation, review, and follow-up of environmental management instruments, permits, and technical documentation. * Coordinate and supervise environmental monitoring and field activities. * Monitor environmental commitments and obligations. * Prepare technical reports and environmental compliance documentation. * Coordinate with environmental consultants, laboratories, contractors, and other specialized service providers. * Provide support during inspections, oversight, and regulatory enforcement by competent authorities. * Identify environmental risks and impacts, and recommend prevention, control, and mitigation measures. * Maintain organized and up-to-date environmental project documentation. **Requirements** * Professional degree in Environmental Engineering or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in mining, mineral exploration, or environmental consulting for the mining sector. * Current registration in SENACE’s National Registry of Environmental Consulting Firms (RNCA) – Mining Subsector. * Knowledge of Peruvian environmental regulations applicable to the mining sector. * Experience with environmental management instruments, permits, and environmental compliance obligations. * Experience in environmental monitoring and fieldwork. * Ability to prepare and review technical reports and documentation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. * Willingness to travel and work on projects located across different regions of Peru. * Willingness to work in remote and high-altitude areas. * Driver’s license (desirable). * Strong organizational skills, initiative, and autonomy in managing responsibilities. **Compensation and Benefits** * Monthly salary: S/ 6,000 – S/ 9,000, depending on experience and professional profile. * Accommodation and meals covered during work at mining sites or in the field. * Work-related transportation expenses covered. * Direct participation in exploration and mining development projects. * Long-term growth opportunities within an expanding mining company. * Professional and dynamic work environment. **Job Type:** Full-time **Work Location:** On-site / field work, with availability to travel to different regions of Peru.
