Lead import and commercialization operations **PONDEROSA WOOD PERU S.A.C.** is seeking an Accountant to lead and manage the company's comprehensive accounting, ensuring proper compliance with tax, financial, and accounting regulations for our import and commercialization operations. **Main Responsibilities**: * Record and analyze accounting entries. * Prepare and maintain electronic accounting books. * File monthly IGV and Income Tax returns. * Prepare financial statements. * Perform bank reconciliations. * Manage accounts payable and receivable. * Monitor withholdings, deductions, and tax credits. * Respond to SUNAT inquiries and requirements. * Prepare accounting and financial reports. **Requirements:** * Certified Public Accountant or Bachelor's degree in Accounting. * Minimum 3 years of experience in import, trading, or international trade companies. **Knowledge of:** * SUNAT. * Electronic accounting books (PLE). * Import costing. * IGV and Income Tax. * Inventory management. * Foreign exchange differences. * Intermediate/advanced Excel skills. * English proficiency \- intermediate level. * Prior experience handling international operations and imports is desirable. **Competencies:** * Organization and accountability. * Analytical ability. * Proactivity. * Effective communication. * Teamwork capability. **Work Modality:** * On-site * Location: San Isidro **Compensation:** \- Market-competitive salary (Commensurate with experience and expertise in imports) * Interested candidates should send an updated CV indicating salary expectations to the following email address: *logistics@ponderosawood.com* Salary: S/.2,500\.00 \- S/.2,800\.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
