Job Summary: We are seeking a PC and Laptop Technician for diagnosis, maintenance, assembly, and repair, providing professional technical support at our store. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for a PC and Laptop Technician for our location at Galería CompuWilson – Downtown Lima. The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, assembling, repairing, and providing technical support for computers, laptops, and peripherals, ensuring prompt, organized, and professional service to our customers. Main Responsibilities: * Diagnose and repair PCs and laptops. * Assemble, upgrade, and maintain gaming and office computers. * Install operating systems, drivers, software, and perform basic configuration. * Replace components: RAM, SSDs, hard drives, power supplies, motherboards, displays, keyboards, hinges, batteries, among others. * Perform internal cleaning, thermal paste replacement, and preventive maintenance. * Conduct functionality tests and quality control before delivery. * Provide basic technical explanations and customer support when necessary. * Assist with inventory management, product inspection, and technical warranty handling. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Requirements: * Prior experience repairing PCs and laptops. * Knowledge of hardware, software, formatting, Windows installation, and driver setup. * Experience assembling gaming computers. * Ability to systematically diagnose faults. * Responsibility, punctuality, and a positive attitude for teamwork. * Customer service or in-store technical support experience is desirable. * Must reside in nearby areas or have convenient access to Downtown Lima. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of gaming laptops. * Proficiency in stress testing, benchmarking, and temperature diagnostics. * Familiarity with gaming peripherals, monitors, printers, or components. * Experience in soldering, motherboard repair, or basic electronics.
