Position Summary: Supervise construction, assembly, and installation of electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial plant, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Lead comprehensive supervision of electrical panel and substation installation. 2. Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and project standards. 3. Coordinate and validate tests, approvals, and closure of observations. **Location:** Callao **Duration:** 10 months **Start Date:** Immediate availability **Work Mode:** On-site at the project site (with coordination of pre-commissioning/commissioning) Position Objective Supervise the **construction, assembly, and installation** of **electrical and instrumentation systems** for the industrial plant, ensuring compliance with **quality, safety, technical standards, and schedule**, including approvals for energization and startup. Main Responsibilities * Comprehensive supervision of assembly for: * **Electrical panels**: PCC, MCC, distribution panels, control panels, UPS (if applicable). * **Substations**: MV cells, transformers, switching equipment, protection devices, conduits, and associated tests. * **Generator sets**: installation, integration with ATS/transfer switches, synchronization (if applicable), and operational testing. * **Instrumentation**: field instrument installation, tubing/impulse lines, racks and supports, wiring, calibration, and loop checks per scope. * Supervise cable management: cable trays, conduits, ducts; laying and termination of **power, control, and instrumentation cables**. * Ensure compliance with **drawings, specifications, RFI**, procedures, and project standards. * Monitor progress, resources, work fronts, and coordinate with **civil, mechanical, QA/QC, and SSOMA** teams. * Validate **ITP/checklists**, approvals, punch lists, and closure of observations. * Coordinate tests: insulation resistance (megger) testing, continuity testing, grounding verification, panel testing, protection device verification, substation testing, functional generator set testing, and instrumentation loop testing. * Daily/weekly reporting and support for as-built documentation. Mandatory Requirements * **Licensed Electrical or Electromechanical Engineer**. * **Registered and licensed professional (CIP)** (mandatory). * **Minimum 10 years’ experience** in industrial plants. * Proven experience in **assembly and supervision** of: * **Electrical panels (PCC/MCC/distribution/control)** * **Substations (MV/LV, transformers, cells, and protection devices)** * **Generator sets (installation and integration)** * **Instrumentation** (installation, wiring, and loop testing per scope) * Availability to work in **Callao** for 10 months with **immediate start**. Valued Certifications / Courses * **LOTO** and electrical safety (energized work/energization criteria). * Training in **MV/LV** (operation/safety) and electrical testing. * **NFPA 70E** or equivalent (desirable). * Instrumentation: calibration/loop check (desirable). * Internal auditor for **ISO 9001 / ISO 45001** (desirable).
