Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced painting technician to perform surface preparation and paint application in accordance with the project's technical specifications. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preparing and conditioning surfaces for painting (repairs, scraping) 2. Painting on various materials such as wood and metal 3. Proper use of materials, machinery, and tools related to the trade We require a **painting technician** with experience for the construction project located in Cerro de Pasco / Civil Construction Regime. **REQUIREMENTS** * Completed secondary education * Knowledge of paints and coatings * Training in painting safety * Training on environmental regulations * Valid RETECC certificate * Minimum 3 years of experience as a painting operator * Willingness to travel **JOB OBJECTIVE** To carry out surface preparation and paint application according to specified thicknesses and project technical specifications. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Prepare and condition surfaces to be painted (perform repairs, scraping, plastering, or other related tasks) * Paint on any material, for example: wood, metal, and others * Be familiar with the proper use and maintenance of all materials, machinery, and tools used in the trade * Execute work cleanly, orderly, and with high-quality finishing; and use materials appropriately and economically * Comply with safety regulations and current legislation, using appropriate personal protective equipment * Knowledge of manual coating application and conventional, suction, and airless equipment (desirable) * Perform all related tasks assigned * Familiarity with various paint brands for proper preparation * Ability to distinguish paint thickness measurements * Compliance with standards, regulations, and procedures established under the Integrated Management System for Safety, Occupational Health, Environment, and Quality (ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015; ISO 45001:2018\) * Familiarity with SIG SSTMAC policies and verification of their implementation * Ability to promptly communicate any abnormal technical situation concerning materials, tools, or equipment, or any other event or circumstance affecting or endangering the construction schedule * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Starting from S/.2,092\.50 per month Application Question(s): * IF INTERESTED, PLEASE INDICATE YOUR CURRENT MOBILE PHONE NUMBER * DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A PAINTING TECHNICIAN?
