Opportunity for professional growth ANALYTICAL LABORATORY is an accredited environmental laboratory dedicated to providing environmental monitoring and analytical services for various sectors such as mining, hydrocarbons, industry, fisheries, etc. We are currently seeking a **METROLOGIST I** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor's degree, graduate, or technical diploma in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum of two (2) years of experience performing calibrations or similar activities. * Knowledge of the current version of NTP ISO/IEC 17025. * Familiarity with calibration procedures for measuring equipment and instruments. * Proficiency in using spreadsheets within calibration procedures. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Comply with the policies, objectives, and procedures of the management system related to the laboratory. * Contribute to achieving quality objectives and goals established by General Management. * Be knowledgeable about how to access documentation: procedures, work instructions, etc. * Participate in ensuring compliance with the program for assuring result validity, including calibration, verification, characterization, and maintenance of measuring equipment and instruments. * Contribute to the effectiveness of the calibration laboratory's activities. * Perform calibrations related to the verification and/or validation of calibration procedures for which authorization has been granted. * Complete records of laboratory environmental conditions. * Perform calibration of equipment or measuring instruments according to internal work orders. * Conduct inspection and receipt of equipment and instruments to be calibrated. * Follow calibration procedures. * Support intermediate verifications for the calibration laboratory's standards. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the laboratory or at the client's facility where calibration is performed. * Maintain assigned measuring instruments and/or equipment in optimal condition. * Properly use personal protective equipment appropriate for the activity being performed. * Report identified risks. * Be aware of significant hazards, risks, and impacts associated with one's area or the client's facilities. * Report if a calibration item is unsuitable for the calibration process. * Report incidents or accidents related to safety, health, and environment to one's supervisor. * Other functions, tasks, and responsibilities assigned by one's supervisor **SKILLS:** * Effective verbal and written communication * Teamwork * Planning and organizational ability **BENEFITS:** * Timely monthly payments * Professional growth Employment type: Full-time Salary: S/.1\.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
