Position Summary: We are seeking a committed and organized professional with operational leadership skills to supervise workplace safety and health in the metal-mechanical and industrial/maritime services sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Daily supervision of safety conditions in the workshop and operations. 2. Operational leadership in occupational safety and health. 3. Participation in the development and updating of IPERC. A company operating in the metal-mechanical and industrial/maritime services sector is undergoing growth and organizational restructuring; therefore, we are looking for a committed, organized professional with operational leadership to join our team. * Conduct daily supervision of safety conditions in the workshop and operations. * Verify compliance with Occupational Safety and Health regulations. * Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by personnel. * Identify unsafe acts and conditions, applying immediate corrective measures. * Deliver safety talks and training sessions to staff. * Prepare ATS, work permits, and operational control forms. * Participate in the development and updating of IPERC. * Supervise high-risk activities: hot work, work at height, load lifting, confined space entry, and electrical work. * **Report incidents, safety observations, and deviations.** * Verify order and cleanliness in work areas. * Inspect tools, equipment, and safe working conditions prior to commencing tasks. * Participate in incident and accident investigations. * Maintain records and photographic evidence of inspections conducted. * Coordinate preventive actions with supervisors and operational responsible personnel. * Ensure compliance with the company’s and clients’ SSOMA standards. Technical Knowledge * Law No. 29783 and Occupational Safety and Health regulations. * Development of ATS and IPERC. * Supervision of high-risk activities. * Use and control of PPE. * Incident and accident investigation. * First aid and emergency response. * Management of SSOMA forms and records. * Basic/intermediate Office software proficiency. Desirable Certifications * Occupational Risk Prevention. * High-Risk Work. * First Aid. * Fire Fighting. * Industrial Safety. Academic Qualifications * Technical or university degree in: Industrial Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related fields. Experience * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar positions. * Preferred experience in: * Metal-mechanical industry * Shipyards * Maritime operations * Industrial maintenance * Fieldwork. Salary: S/.1,500.00 - S/.1,800.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
