Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and registered engineer with experience in Occupational Safety and Health to lead and manage safety operations.
Key Highlights:
1. Desirable experience in Occupational Safety and Health.
2. Training in Occupational Safety and Health regulations for the mining sector.
3. Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems.
\- EDUCATION: Licensed and registered engineer in various specialties.
\- EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1\.5 years (desirable: 3 years) in related activities and/or in Occupational Safety and Health.
. REQUIREMENTS:
\- Specialized training or studies in Occupational Safety and Health, lasting at least 120 hours (ideal: completed; minimum: in progress)
\- Training on the Regulation of Occupational Safety and Health in Mining, Supreme Decree No. 024-2016 and its amendments.
\- Training on Law No. 29783 and its associated regulations, for a minimum of 4 hours.
\- Training on high-risk work (e.g., working at heights, hot work, lifting, isolation, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined spaces, and other high-risk tasks required by PERUBAR's SAS department), with a minimum duration of 4 hours per type of high-risk work, aligned with the candidate’s specific duties; such training may be completed within one month after joining PERUBAR, considering activity-related constraints.
\- Training on Integrated Management Systems (Quality, Environment, Occupational Safety and Health), with a minimum duration of 4 hours (desirable).
\- For competencies established as legal or corporate requirements, specific deadlines (e.g., 3 months) may be set for completing and providing evidence of missing courses.
