Application of occupational safety and health standards QUALITY AND WELDING INSPECTOR FOR HUACHIPA PLANT ACEFISAC Metal Constructions and Assembly is a company dedicated to the metal-mechanical sector, positioned in the demanding markets of industry, mining, fishing, and oil; specializing in the design, fabrication, and assembly of industrial plants, general mechanical equipment, metal structures, storage tanks, and pipeline installation. We are seeking to fill the position of Quality Inspector meeting the following requirements: Completed technical studies or university studies in final cycles related to industrial or mechanical engineering or similar fields; preferably holding a valid VT/PT certification Identification of Quality Assurance and Control. VT \- PT Technical drawing proficiency (basic AutoCAD level) Welding inspection Experience in metal-mechanical work (piping) Project management and project governance course with PMI focus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing plants or production facilities in a similar position Responsibilities: Interpret drawings and general specifications. Interpret applicable procedure specifications. Compile or verify whether all welding procedures have been issued, confirming they cover all welded joints required by the project and are properly identified on construction drawings. Propose and/or evaluate welding procedure qualification plans, verifying that considerations comply with project requirements or stipulations. Witness welding procedure qualifications and verify compliance with all essential variables. Verify and request Welding Procedure Qualification Records and Welder Qualification Records according to applicable standards within the project scope. Control work processes per the Project Inspection Point Plan (PPI). Properly identify welded beads. Comply with and enforce all occupational safety and health guidelines established by the company. Monitor quality index values. Identify and formalize any processes required for task execution. Apply occupational safety and health procedures across all work-related activities. Ensure care and security of assigned materials and equipment Carry out assigned responsibilities within the company's Integrated Management System.
