Position Summary: Supervises and comprehensively manages Data Center operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations, optimizing resources, and leading teams. Risk management and continuous infrastructure improvement **Functions and Responsibilities** * Monitor the performance of the integrated Data Center Facility service. * Lead customer commitments with a sense of urgency. * Maximize service value. * Ensure compliance with and execution of contractual obligations. * Manage contract-assigned resources across work teams, coordinating daily maintenance and operational tasks. * Attend meetings convened by Vertiv and the Customer to verify compliance with SLAs. * Receive and manage customer complaints. * Ensure shift scheduling is carried out per technical specialty, in constant coordination with Human Resources and the Administrative Assistant, in compliance with labor regulations. * Prepare documents required by the Customer. * Prepare and issue necessary reports and summaries for daily, weekly, and monthly communication regarding incidents and management. * Review and approve technical reports (e.g., incident reports, root cause analyses) before submission to the Customer. * Submit, upon Customer or relevant department request, any report related to equipment maintenance, requirements, changes, or incidents. * Communicate change progress and report incidents to the Customer and stakeholders. * Review, update, and manage contingency plans, as well as operational risk analysis and mitigation. * Manage and ensure execution of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule, Corrective Maintenance schedule, and operation of critical systems—including power, cooling, security, and communications—as well as non-critical systems, to maintain infrastructure in optimal condition. * Coordinate the execution and safety of scheduled work performed by the Facilities department and various Customer departments. * Coordinate and manage infrastructure expansion, renovation, or improvement projects for the Data Center. * Ensure Data Center operations comply with safety, environmental, and industry standards. * Guarantee physical security and protection against fire, theft, and other risks. * Develop the Training Plan for work teams. * Prepare and ensure implementation of the RACI matrix. * Conduct coordination meetings with supervised personnel to assign tasks and responsibilities. * Analyze productivity and performance of supervised personnel. * Conduct performance evaluations of supervised personnel and request training based on evaluation results. * Track PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness). * Coordinate budget preparation for work outside the base contract price. * Perform technical and economic evaluation of project-related expenditures. * Propose Data Center infrastructure improvements. * Support internal and external audits. * Coordinate with the Safety Supervisor on safety training courses according to Vertiv corporate requirements. * Ensure development, review, approval, and control of procedures for the following processes: Computer Center Access Requests, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Change Management, Availability Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Maintenance Management, Operations Management, Capacity Management, Occupational Health and Safety Management, Information and Documentation Management, Configuration Management, Energy Management and Continuous Improvement, and any others required to ensure SERVICE compliance.
