Prevention of failures and rework in the plant At Food Consulting Perú SAC, we are seeking a Quality Inspector to provide services for a metal-mechanical sector company specializing in the manufacture of steel industrial cylinders and containers. **Requirements:** * Technical graduate, bachelor’s degree holder, or professional in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Quality Control, Industrial Production, or related fields. * Minimum 6 months of experience in quality departments of industrial or manufacturing companies. Experience in the metal-mechanical sector is preferred. * Knowledge of quality control in production processes and verification of finished products. * Desired experience in material inspection, welding, painting, finishing, and detection of non-conforming products. * Desired proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. * Observational ability, attention to detail, and judgment to identify deviations. * Effective communication, responsibility, proactivity, and willingness to work in a team. * Availability to work on-site in Cercado de Lima. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct in-process and finished product quality inspections. * Verify measurements in coil cutting and material condition. * Monitor cylinder forming (alignment and absence of defects). * Inspect welding and product finishing. * Verify internal and external paint (coverage, uniformity, and adhesion). * Detect and report non-conforming products. * Record daily quality checks. * Report deviations and coordinate with production. * Prevent failures and avoid rework in the plant. **Position Conditions:** * Work modality: On-site. * Working hours: Day shift. * Location: Cercado de Lima. * Specific working hours and other position conditions will be explained during the interview. Position Type: Full-time, Contract-based Salary: S/.2,100.00 – S/.2,300.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
