Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Second Cook to prepare food, develop menus, produce high-quality dishes, and supervise kitchen staff. Key Responsibilities: 1. Food preparation and compliance with food safety standards 2. Menu development in coordination with nutritionist and supervisors 3. Production of high-quality dishes with attractive presentation SECOND COOK with EXPERIENCE / LOGISMINSA Responsibilities: * Prepare food according to the planned schedule, ensuring compliance with food handling standards to guarantee food safety. * Develop the monthly or cyclical menu in coordination with the Nutritionist, Logistics Manager, Operations Manager, or whoever AMERICAN CATERING S.A.C. designates as its representative. * Produce high-quality dishes aligned with the established menu and meeting the standards required by company supervision or management, as well as customer requirements. * Plan meal presentation to achieve a perfect balance between visual appeal and flavor. * Request necessary supplies from the Warehouse Manager or whoever AMERICAN CATERING S.A.C. designates as its representative. * Prepare supporting dishes for the corresponding menu and develop and execute à la carte dishes. * Prepare cold dishes, appetizers, soups, and side dishes included in the corresponding menu. * Prepare and organize supplies required for the corresponding menu. * Grill meats according to customer requests, meeting their expectations. * Supervise kitchen assistants during supply preparation and staff assigned to customer service. * Verify kitchen supply stock levels and submit requisitions for restocking. * Perform marinating and product thawing according to the day’s sales forecast. * Prepare and organize supplies required for the corresponding menu and as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
