Position Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical-Electrical Technician with experience in underground mining to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment, diagnose equipment failures, and repair major components. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of equipment. 2. Diagnosis of equipment failures and repair of equipment in service. 3. Assembly and repair of major components in equipment. **MECHANICAL-ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN \- UNDERGROUND MINE REQUIREMENTS:** * Certified Technician in Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanics, Automotive Mechanics, or related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience in underground mining performing the following tasks: * Experience in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, repair of engine-powered equipment in mine and surface operations, maintenance, and related activities. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Perform evaluation and diagnosis of failures in equipment in service. * Carry out proper disassembly, evaluation, and spare parts ordering procedures for repairs, following established protocols. * Execute daily, periodic, and/or occasional major repairs, assembly, measurement, testing, calibration, adjustments, wear assessment, cleaning, modifications, and other tasks performed on equipment undergoing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. * Repair and assemble major components (e.g., differential axle, transmission, engines, transfer case). * Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in general, engines, and others as specified in technical specifications. Also conduct operational tests on facilities, machinery, and equipment subjected to maintenance and/or repairs prior to handover to mine operations personnel. * Perform general cleaning, washing, greasing, oil changes, and filter replacements for each required equipment. * Perform welding work, preceded by layout as required, either to fabricate, modify, and/or adapt simple or moderately complex components using welding equipment; likewise, perform weld material filling where needed (e.g., steering stops, filters, etc.). **WHAT DO WE OFFER?** * Formal employment contract with all statutory benefits. * Transportation, meals, and camp accommodation. * Work schedule: 14\*7. * Willingness to work in CHALA\-AREQUIPA.
