At ZGROUP, we are looking for top talent to join the position of **WELDING INSPECTOR \- WELDING SUPERVISOR** **Requirements:** * University degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical fields such as Metal Structures Construction, Universal Welding, Metallic Structures Maintenance, Metallurgy and Heat Treatment, Metal-Mechanical Manufacturing, Quality Inspection and Control, Materials Technology, Industrial Welding Processes, or Technological Welding Processes. * Hands-on experience performing welding processes (MIG/TIG) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. * Welding certification by process: SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW. * Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications. * Solid knowledge of welding and metallurgical processes. * Familiarity with welding procedures (WPS/PQR). * Knowledge of international and national standards (ASTM, ASME, ISO, AWS, API, etc.). * Diploma in Welding Inspection. * Minimum 2 years’ certified experience in inspections of welded structures and similar functions. * Knowledge of standards for welded structure construction and painting. * Availability to work in Callao. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct visual inspections of welds before, during, and after the welding process, verifying compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards. * Verify quality standards within the preparation, assembly, and welding processes of equipment, components, and spare parts manufactured according to established standards and guidelines. * Evaluate and propose improvements to processes in the manufacturing inspection chain (cutting, assembly, welding, blasting, and painting). * Provide technical support and advisory services on basic welding and metallurgy topics. * Verify proper storage and traceability of welding materials and consumables. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. * Evaluate weld discontinuities and defects, determining their acceptance or rejection according to technical standard criteria. **Benefits:** * Immediate payroll enrollment. * Market-competitive salary. **Additional Information:** * Location: Callao * Work Mode: On-site This is your opportunity to become part of a great Family!
