Veolia seeks a Junior Business Development Engineer to lead, organize, plan, and supervise operational, technical, and commercial activities for collection services, ensuring quality.

We are currently seeking new talent for the position of JUNIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (COMMERCIAL) for our services.
What is your challenge?
Lead, organize, plan, and supervise operational, technical, and commercial activities for collection services, ensuring service quality in accordance with contractual, environmental, and safety parameters.
Support the identification and analysis of new business opportunities, evaluating their technical and economic feasibility.
Collect and analyze market, competitor, and customer information to support commercial decisions.
Bid on development projects in coordination with the Commercial Department and other supporting departments.
Prepare techno-economic proposals, including necessary alternatives and sensitivity analyses.
Manage situational diagnostics.
Supplier quotation.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Veolia standards.
Maintain ongoing communication with the LATAM Technical Directorate and Veolia headquarters.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to projects/contracts.
Implement operational performance plans across various contracts in line with Veolia guidelines.
Coordinate specific studies with external consulting firms and similar entities.
Ensure project shared folders are updated in accordance with internal procedures. \- Support the preparation of documentation related to your process/area, ensuring consistency between operational guideline compliance and organizational HSE&QMS requirements.
Collaborate periodically in identifying bribery-related and other criminal risks for evaluation, control, and integration into the respective risk matrix.
Assist in applying due diligence criteria prior to executing transactions, projects, activities, and engagements with business partners, to identify, verify, and monitor relevant information and prevent and control bribery risks.

Requirements
Sanitary, Environmental, Chemical, Industrial Engineer or related field
Experience in Commercial Management of environmental services (sanitation or water treatment in the mining sector)
Experience in bidding processes
Experience in market mapping and opportunity identification
Total work experience: 5 years; specific experience in bidding or as an Environmental Commercial Executive: 3 years
