Job Summary:
We are seeking a METROLOGIST III with experience in environmental analysis and calibration to ensure the quality and validity of results from an accredited laboratory.

ANALYTICAL LABORATORY is an accredited environmental laboratory dedicated to providing environmental monitoring and analytical services for various sectors such as mining, hydrocarbons, industry, fisheries, etc. We are currently seeking a **METROLOGIST III**.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
* Final-year university student or graduate, or technical graduate in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields.
* Minimum of 6 months’ experience performing duties as an Analyst III.
* Basic metrology knowledge (desirable).
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Implement the laboratory’s management system policy, objectives, and procedures.
* Contribute to achieving quality objectives and targets set by General Management.
* Know how to access documentation: procedures, work instructions, etc.
* Participate in fulfilling the program for ensuring result validity, including calibration, verification, characterization, and maintenance of measurement equipment and instruments.
* Contribute to the effectiveness of calibration laboratory activities.
* Perform calibrations related to verification and/or validation of calibration procedures for which authorization has been granted.
* Complete records of laboratory environmental conditions.
* Perform calibration of measurement equipment or instruments according to internal work orders.
* Conduct inspection and receipt of equipment and instruments submitted for calibration.
* Follow calibration procedures.
* Support intermediate verifications of calibration laboratory standards.
* Maintain order and cleanliness in the laboratory or at the client’s facility where calibration is performed.
* Keep assigned measurement instruments and/or equipment in optimal condition.
* Properly use personal protective equipment appropriate for the task.
* Report any identified risks.
* Be aware of significant hazards, risks, and impacts associated with one’s area or the client’s facilities.
* Report if a calibration item is unsuitable for the calibration process.
* Report incidents or accidents related to safety, health, and environment to one’s supervisor.
* Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities assigned by one’s supervisor.
