Job Summary: Safely and efficiently transport recyclable and non-recyclable solid waste, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to operational procedures. Key Highlights: 1. Solid waste transportation: recyclable and non-recyclable. 2. Compliance with environmental regulations and operational procedures. 3. Operation of a truck-trailer/tractor-trailer with semi-trailer. JOB OBJECTIVE: To safely, efficiently, and compliantly transport recyclable and non-recyclable solid waste in accordance with current environmental regulations, ensuring adherence to operational procedures, assigned routes, documentary traceability, and standards of the Integrated Management System, thereby contributing to the company’s operational sustainability and safety. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Operate the assigned **truck-trailer/tractor-trailer with semi-trailer**, complying with traffic regulations, road safety rules, and internal procedures. * Perform **collection, transportation, and delivery of solid waste**, following established routes and schedules. * Verify that the vehicle holds all required **valid permits and documentation** for operation. * Conduct the **daily pre-operational inspection** of the vehicle and promptly report faults, damages, hazards, or maintenance needs. * Verify correct **weighing, classification, labeling, and packaging** of waste according to established procedures. * Ensure proper handling and transfer of waste, avoiding mixing or improper handling. * Accurately record and submit **transport waybills, manifests, and other operational control documentation**. * Promptly report **delays, route deviations, incidents, accidents, or unforeseen situations** occurring during service. * Correctly use **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)** and comply with occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures. * Maintain the vehicle, loading area, and tools in appropriate conditions of **order and cleanliness**. * Availability to work **overtime when required by operations**. * Availability to undertake **trips outside Lima approximately 3–4 times per month**. * Perform loading and unloading of cargo. * Comply with routes, schedules, and directives established by the company. REQUIREMENTS: \- Minimum: Completed secondary education \- Valid A3 or A4 driver’s license (mandatory for hazardous waste transportation). \- Experience in waste, material, logistics, or service transportation (desirable). \- Basic knowledge of traffic regulations. \- Basic knowledge of solid waste and its classification. \- Knowledge of safe loading, stowage, and transportation procedures. \- Familiarity with traceability documentation (waybills, manifests, tickets). \- Basic knowledge of ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety).
