




Position Summary: SGS, the world leader in inspection and certification services, is seeking an Analyst to perform chemical tests, prepare solutions, and maintain the laboratory. In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fishing—forming part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** Perform chemical tests according to applicable methods in the area. Prepare solutions and working materials required for chemical and environmental analyses. Request necessary materials and reagents from the direct supervisor, in accordance with stock control procedures. Verify laboratory equipment in compliance with defined procedures and protocols. Implement and comply with the validity assurance program during test execution. Identify non-conformities arising during activity execution and propose necessary corrective actions. Propose improvements to testing procedures and to the laboratory overall. Perform other similar duties as assigned by the Employer or hierarchical superior based on operational needs and requirements. **Requirements** University degree or technical qualification in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields. Experience in Atomic Absorption and multi-acid digestion. Good Laboratory Practices. Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 17025\. Minimum 6 months’ experience as an Analyst.
