




Position Summary: We are seeking a Student Support and Retention Advisor to ensure students' academic continuity through monitoring, guidance, and counseling. Key Highlights: 1. What is the challenge? Achieve the highest possible retention rate relative to the number of formal withdrawal requests submitted. Additionally, provide ongoing monitoring, guidance, and counseling to students throughout their academic period to enable them to complete their studies as successfully as possible. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in face-to-face and telephone customer service or student support roles; preferably within the educational sector. Experience in tutoring and student/customer retention management. KNOWLEDGE: Incomplete university studies / Technical diploma / Bachelor’s degree / Licentiate degree in Management, Psychology, or Education. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate level in MS Excel). REQUIREMENT: Must not have been convicted under Laws No. 29988 and 30901. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS Support: Managing inquiries and cases submitted via CIBERTEC CONTACT (OS-TICKET). Operating the student risk engine for students exhibiting irregularities (attendance, grades, payments, etc.) during the first weeks of class (prevention stage). Managing at-risk students and coordinating with various departments such as Billing, Academics, and Student Life. Facilitating the maximum number of retention options available to students. Conducting follow-up on at-risk students according to Cibertec’s established retention process. Monitoring academic risk. Tracking and managing at-risk students (attendance, grades, payments, etc.). Operating the student risk engine for eligible students after the formal withdrawal request deadline has passed (containment stage). Induction: Effectively contacting new students to ensure their attendance in the CRECE cycle and continuity into the regular cycle. (Onboarding) Verifying that students have correctly received their credentials, informational communications, and access to platforms. Other: Any additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor or corporate directives.
