Job Summary: JOMICAS is seeking a Social Specialist for socio-environmental studies, fieldwork, and social information collection, with experience in environmental management instruments. Key Highlights: 1. Professional with experience in social studies related to environmental management 2. Experience in preparing socio-environmental studies 3. Proficiency in tools for collecting social information Full-time | Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Employment modality: Initial 3-month period under service invoice agreement, with potential incorporation into the payroll starting from the 4th month, subject to performance evaluation. JOMICAS is an engineering, construction, maintenance, and remodeling services company. We are currently experiencing growth and seek to incorporate a Social Specialist with experience in socio-environmental studies, fieldwork, and social information collection into our team. What profile are we looking for? A graduate professional in Sociology, Anthropology, Social Sciences, or related fields, with proven experience in social studies linked to environmental management instruments. Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in preparing, evaluating, modifying, and/or updating environmental management studies and instruments. Experience in field-based social work. Experience in preparing socio-environmental studies and projects involving peasant and/or native communities. Proficiency in tools and methodologies for collecting social information. Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of socioeconomic information. Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork nationwide. Proven experience required with the following instruments: * Environmental Impact Statements (DIA). * Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), EIA-sd, and/or EIA-d. * Environmental Management and Adaptation Programs (PAMA). * Environmental Management Instruments for Sanitation Project Adaptation (IGA PAP). * Modifications and/or updates of Environmental Management Instruments. Particular value will be placed on experience in sanitation projects, including Wastewater Treatment Plants (PTAR), drinking water systems, sewerage systems, and related projects. Experience must reflect active participation in the preparation of such studies, including fieldwork and/or office-based activities specific to this specialty. Do you meet this profile?
