Job Summary: Cost Engineer responsible for planning, estimating, controlling, and optimizing project costs to ensure profitability and budget compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Analysis and optimization for cost reduction and profitability COST ENGINEER SAN ISIDRO (100% ON-SITE) Location: San Isidro Modality: 100% on-site Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Compensation: S/ 3,500 – S/ 4,000 Job Objective To plan, estimate, control, and optimize project costs, ensuring budget compliance, profitability, and proper resource allocation through techno-economic analysis and financial monitoring of each project phase. Key Responsibilities Planning and Budgeting Preparation of detailed line-item budgets. Unit Price Analysis (UPA). Definition of direct and indirect cost structures. Estimation of materials, labor, and equipment. Participation in technical and economic proposals. Control and Monitoring Comparison of actual vs. budgeted costs. Identification of variances and corrective actions. Cash flow control. Preparation of S-curves and financial reports. Economic impact assessment of construction change orders. Contractual Management Review of contracts. Preparation of progress billings (valuations). Control of change orders. Justification of budget variances to management. Analysis and Optimization Cost reduction proposals. Profitability analysis per project. Financial risk assessment. Implementation of control tools. Required Profile Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 3–5 years of experience in project cost control. Experience in budgeting and price analysis. Experience in financial control of construction projects or investment projects. Advanced Excel proficiency. Proficiency in budgeting and project control software.
