Job Summary: We are seeking an FTTH / HFC Field Technician to join the Operations team in Metropolitan Lima, performing network installations and maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. At Comfica Peru, we seek top talent to fill the position of FTTH / HFC FIELD TECHNICIAN and join the Operations team in Metropolitan Lima. The opportunity for a better future is here! Key Responsibilities: * Install coaxial cable (HFC) or fiber optic cable (drop FTTH) from the distribution point (TAP or CTO) to the subscriber's premises, complying with height, anchoring, and bending radius standards. * Configure and verify proper operation of customer equipment (ONTs, cable modems, TV decoders, routers, etc.). * Measure optical power levels (using a power meter) for FTTH or signal-to-noise levels (using a field strength meter) for HFC, ensuring they fall within optimal ranges before departure. * Perform fiber optic service installations and activations. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on FTTH networks. * Diagnose and resolve faults in the fiber optic network. * Configure and verify terminal equipment (ONTs, routers, and Wi-Fi access points). * Comply with occupational safety and health regulations. * Register and close work orders via mobile applications. * Provide courteous and professional customer service. ***Requirements:*** * Minimum completed secondary education; technical studies in progress, completed, or incomplete preferred in Telecommunications, Electronics, Networks and Communications, Electricity, or related fields. * Minimum **1 year** of field technician experience in network installation, maintenance, or technical support. * Specific experience installing internet, telephony, and cable services using FTTH (fiber optic) or HFC technologies. * Experience serving **end users and working at heights (ladder use).** * Knowledge of safety regulations and working at heights. * Strong customer service skills and effective communication, especially for residential and business installations. * Availability for fieldwork and emergency response, including rotating shifts if required by operations. * Valid driver's license * Personal vehicle (car or pickup truck) in good condition with valid documentation (SOAT, Technical Inspection). ***We offer the following benefits:*** * Formal payroll registration from day one * Market-competitive remuneration * Incentives (bonuses based on achieved objectives) * Statutory benefits including mid-year and year-end bonuses, Compulsory Savings Fund (CTS), and vacation pay * PROFIT-SHARING * Ongoing training * Corporate partnership agreements * Excellent work environment.
