Position Summary: We are seeking a GIS Specialist to create, structure, and maintain geographic information systems for archaeological records, applying drone photogrammetry. Key Highlights: 1. As leaders in innovation and technological development, we seek experts to drive sustainable development and find solutions to the world’s greatest challenges, such as global warming, overpopulation, and water scarcity.** **Position Description** At **ACCIONA**, for its **CONSTRUCTION** business, we require hiring a **GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS) SPECIALIST** for a project in Lima. **MISSION:** The professional will be responsible for creating, structuring, and maintaining geographic information systems that integrate archaeological records (e.g., locations of findings, excavation units, planimetry, orthophotos, digital terrain models, among others), ensuring data spatial quality, accuracy, and traceability. Furthermore, they will apply drone photogrammetry techniques for aerial photogrammetric surveys of intervention zones, generating high-resolution cartographic products to document, analyze, and monitor the status of cultural heritage. Their work will focus on providing specialized technical support to archaeologists and project managers, facilitating the preparation of reports, thematic maps, and geospatial models compliant with scientific standards and requirements of the Ministry of Culture (MINCUL). **Candidate Requirements** **REQUIREMENTS** **Academic Qualifications:** * Engineering or Master’s degree specializing in geomatics and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or equivalent. **Experience:** * **General Experience:** 8 years of experience since graduation or issuance of the corresponding diploma (for foreign professionals). * **Specific Experience:** 3 years of experience in GIS software, evidenced by diplomas or certificates from GIS, QGIS, ArcGIS, or other relevant courses. * Knowledge of drone photogrammetry, certified through courses in digital photogrammetry, drone surveying, applied geomatics, or software-specific certifications. **Location:** * Metropolitan Lima **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Creation and management of archaeological spatial data collected in fieldwork and office settings.
