JOB OBJECTIVE Perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on naval and industrial equipment, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with operational procedures. Additionally, provide logistical support by operating company vehicles to transport personnel, tools, and materials as required by operational needs. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** Technical Functions * Perform naval and industrial mechanical work. * Carry out disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of mechanical equipment. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems. * Repair and maintain diesel engines, pumps, hydraulic systems, and auxiliary equipment. * Support welding, metal structures, and fabrication work when required. * Identify and diagnose basic mechanical failures. * Properly use assigned tools, equipment, and materials. * Adhere to company-established technical procedures. Operational Functions * Participate in operational maneuvers at workshops, ports, vessels, and field locations. * Transport personnel, tools, materials, and equipment according to schedule. * Verify the operational status of assigned vehicles. * Maintain order and cleanliness in vehicle units and work areas. * Report incidents, progress, and observations to the Supervisor or Operations Manager. Safety and Quality * Strictly comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations. * Correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Identify and report unsafe conditions or operational risks. * Contribute to meeting the company’s quality standards. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** Academic Qualifications * Mechanical Technician. * Maintenance Mechanics Technician. * Related technical degrees. Experience * Minimum 1 year of experience in naval, industrial, or metal-mechanical mechanical work. * Experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment. Licenses * Class A1 driver's license. * Class A2B driver's license (Mandatory).
