Key support in the daily operational execution of tests and analyses. **Education:** Engineer / Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related fields. **Knowledge:** Knowledge of laboratory chemicals, storage practices, management of chemical or petroleum storage facilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, basic English, ASTM standards for hydrocarbons, possession of Driver's License A1 or higher. **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of experience in chemical, petroleum, and/or petrochemical industries, involving the use and handling of chemicals or petroleum products in laboratory environments. **Skills:** Customer focus, continuous learning, ethics and values, results orientation, organizational skills, proactivity, process management. **Responsibilities:** \- Responsible for cleaning analytical equipment and workbenches where such equipment is installed in the laboratory, ensuring strict compliance with established cleaning instructions and protocols for each piece of equipment and its respective analysis areas. \- Responsible for collecting and cleaning sampling materials (bottles, cans, pots, metal drums, etc.) within the laboratory premises, strictly adhering to defined cleaning instructions and standards for each material type. \- Responsible for collecting materials from various laboratory areas and cleaning glassware, including vials, test tubes, funnels, beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks, volumetric flasks, pipettes, burettes, Kitasatos, crucibles, as well as metallic components of analyzers and any other materials used in sampling, testing, and analysis activities, in accordance with established cleaning standards. Additionally, responsible for disposing of intermediate and residual distilled products at designated points, such as authorized drains and drums intended for heavy products. \- Responsible for operating the water purifier owned by LA COMPAÑÍA to produce distilled water, including filling drums and distributing them to designated locations, ensuring continuous availability of purified water required for test execution. \- Responsible for filtering solvents Varsol, n\-heptane, and other reagents using LA COMPAÑÍA's filtration equipment, as well as filling their respective dispensers and distributing them to designated locations. Must ensure continuous availability of these solvents according to the requirements necessary for test execution. \- Responsible for assisting in the movement and transportation of equipment, drums, cans, and other materials within the laboratory when required. \- Responsible for monitoring and recording gas cylinder pressures at the start of each shift, and replacing cylinders when pressure reaches the minimum level established by the laboratory for each gas. A record must be maintained for daily laboratory supervision review. \- Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and updating a control and tracking system for sampling cylinders used in the Diesel and Gasoline Desulfurization Units of the plant, covering approximately 40 cylinders in active use. This record must remain permanently available for daily control and for review by laboratory supervision or responsible personnel. \- Responsible for disposal of waste and materials generated from laboratory analyses (e.g., syringes, vials, pipettes, glass or plastic Pasteur pipettes, etc.), as well as waste located at sample collection points (cans, bottles, etc.). Must ensure proper segregation and final disposal of such waste into appropriate containers, in accordance with established guidelines. \- Collect control samples labeled "closed" from the laboratory and dispose of them following the laboratory's internal waste management procedure. \- Responsible for collecting, inspecting, receiving, and storing control samples, certification samples, and duplicate samples—including those labeled "certified" or "closed", or marked "Keep"—and additionally collecting duplicate samples at the plant's main entrance. \- Responsible for receiving and storing duplicate samples delivered by inspection companies, in full compliance with established guidelines. \- Update daily the inventory of stored duplicate samples, maintaining an up-to-date and accessible record for daily supervision or laboratory personnel review, which must be retained for a minimum period of one (01\) year. Additionally, responsible for preparing the list and executing the disposal of LA COMPAÑÍA's and inspection companies' duplicate samples upon completion of their custody period, in accordance with applicable guidelines and regulations. \- Deliver samples at the plant's main entrance upon request by the laboratory supervisor when required.
