Education: Professional degree as Electronics or Electromechanical Technician, Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or Engineering in Electronics, Biomedical, or Mechatronics (must be certified with a simple copy of the diploma). Experience: Minimum of six (6) months handling hemodialysis equipment. II. MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS \* Supervise and carry out repair, preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical installations, biomedical and electromechanical equipment at the Dialysis Center. III. SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS 1\. Perform maintenance tasks on hemodialysis machines and water treatment plant. 2\. Verify and carry out compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance programs for biomedical, electronic, electromechanical or similar equipment. 3\. Verify and ensure hemodialysis machines are in good condition and report any observed anomalies. 4\. Monitor proper operation of the water treatment plant, including recirculation loop piping. 5\. Report to the Medical Director and Administrator completed, pending, and ongoing work related to biomedical, electronic, electromechanical or similar equipment. 6\. Verify complete internal disinfection of HD machines between sessions, which must be properly recorded. 7\. Measure and record daily conductivity and pH of hemodialysis water (from osmosis output and treated water storage tank output). 8\. Measure and record monthly chloramines, chlorine, and water hardness for hemodialysis (from osmosis output). 9\. Verify monthly sodium, chlorine, and chloramine control and risk reports issued by a laboratory (from osmosis output). 10\. Perform weekly disinfection and record keeping of the hemodialysis water distribution and storage system. 11\. Verify biannual maintenance of hemodialysis water plant equipment, certified by a sanitary engineer. 12\. Verify biannual cleaning and disinfection of cisterns and elevated tanks, certified by a sanitary engineer. 13\. Conduct annual monitoring of chemical contaminants (aluminum) through laboratory reports. 14\. Ensure daily records are approved by the on-duty physician and other records by the Medical Director. 15\. Other job-related functions.
