Over more than a century of history, Yokogawa continues working toward a sustainable society through its network of over 17\.000 employees across 122 companies spanning 61 countries. **Position: MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (BOILERMAKER)** * **Academic Requirements:** * Graduate of a technical program in Maintenance Mechanics or Mechatronics. * Certification will be verified via copies of academic degrees and/or certificates. * **Required Experience:** * Minimum three (03\) years as a Mechanical Technician (Boilermaker) performing maintenance on static equipment in industrial settings and Plant Shutdowns at Oil Refineries, Petrochemical Plants, Fractionation Plants, Natural Gas Liquefaction Facilities, Mining, and Metallurgical Plants—covering mechanical static equipment such as safety valves, slide valves, manual valves, control valves, relief valves, pumps, and hydraulic cylinders. * Proven participation in at least one major plant shutdown, including disassembly, repair, and reassembly of static and rotating equipment. * Certification will be verified via employment certificates and/or work experience letters. * **Responsibilities:** * Comply with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations. * Perform general maintenance activities, removal, and installation of static equipment—including safety, slide, manual, control, and relief valves; pumps; and hydraulic cylinders. * Perform maintenance, smoothing, tapping, testing, and/or replacement of process taps. * Perform maintenance and/or replacement of defective or worn parts associated with equipment under repair. * Prepare tools, equipment, and materials according to work orders. * Conduct functional tests and post\-maintenance adjustments on maintained, repaired, and installed static equipment under direct supervision. * Report findings, deviations, or unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor. * **Specific Knowledge:** * Proficient in correct sizing of parts and accessories. * Verification, removal, and installation of mechanical and hydraulic components. * Knowledge of maintenance and repair of slide valves, control valves, piston hydraulic systems, accessories, mechanical components, and piping assembly/disassembly. * Knowledge of flange bolting and unbolting. * Use of hand, pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic tools. * Hydrostatic testing on pipe spools and valves. * Safety\-hygiene\-environmental standards and work permits. * **Key Competencies:** * Proactive, dynamic, responsible, respectful, ethical, compliant with rules and work instructions, creative, quality\-oriented, safety\-oriented, capable of teamwork, problem\-solving and conflict management, personnel leadership, effective and assertive communication, active listening, organized, able to make assertive decisions.
