Position Summary: We are seeking a Customs Clearance Agent to manage customs declarations, classify goods, and verify documentation for clearance. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for numbering and settlement of customs declarations. 2. Classification of goods and verification of customs documentation. 3. Management of customs operations for efficient clearance. **Job Description:** A customs agency is seeking a Customs Clearance Agent for its Callao branch. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform numbering of customs declarations required for customs and other authorities to enable cargo pickup or entry into the storage terminal in the shortest possible time. * Number the DAM \- Verify that documentation is correct and complete to proceed with settlement. * Review and verify unit and total prices on each commercial invoice, as well as purchase and sale terms (Incoterms). * Verify required documentation to determine customs value using current customs valuation methods. * Classify goods according to the description on the commercial invoice, possibly resorting to prior classification. * Review original documents. * Perform any other assigned duties. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Minimum education: University degree in International Trade or International Business Administration, or related fields. * **\*Proficiency in SOFTPAD software\* (Mandatory)** * Minimum experience: 5 years * Office skills level: Intermediate * English proficiency level: Intermediate * Age: Between 26 and 35 years old * Knowledge of: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Windows, Microsoft Office * Must reside in areas near Callao / Airport. * Knowledge of customs legislation **BENEFITS:** * Formal payroll (MYPE) from the first day of employment * Pleasant work environment Employment type: Full-time Employment type: Full-time, Permanent Work location: On-site employment Employment type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: S/.4,000\.00 \- S/.6,000\.00 per month Application question(s): * Have you worked for logistics companies, freight forwarders, or customs agencies? * Do you have experience calculating and paying customs duties, tariffs, or fines? * If selected, when could you start working? * Please provide your current contact number: * Have you worked with the SINTAD or SOFTPAD system?
