Position Summary: We are seeking a Logistics Manager with experience in distribution center management to plan, direct, and coordinate operations, inventory, and shipments, aiming for continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Planning and directing logistics operations at the distribution center. 2. Inventory management, receiving, shipping, and space optimization. 3. Leadership, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement in logistics. * ***EDUCATION*** University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, or related fields. * ***EXPERIENCE*** Minimum of 5 years in supervisory roles in logistics, distribution centers, warehouse management, or inventory control. * ***KNOWLEDGE*** Proficiency in management software such as SAP, Oracle, etc. Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI. Specialization in logistics and warehouse management. Familiarity with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations. * SOFT SKILLS Leadership, conflict resolution, and supervision of operational staff. Planning, organizing, and controlling capabilities. Decision-making under pressure and focus on continuous improvement. **What are the job responsibilities?** Plan, direct, and coordinate all logistics operations at the distribution center. **1\. Inventory and Stock Management** * **Stock Control:** Maintains accurate records of all products and materials to prevent stockouts or overstocking. * **Periodic Inventories:** Organizes and supervises regular physical counts and reconciles data with the management system. * **Traceability:** Monitors the flow of incoming and outgoing items. **2\. Receiving and Shipping** * **Goods Receiving:** Controls supplier deliveries, verifies that delivery notes match purchase orders, and supervises quality and condition inspections of goods. * **Order Picking:** Directs the order preparation and packaging process to ensure fast, accurate, and error-free shipments. * **Shipping:** Plans vehicle loading for distribution and ensures on-time delivery. **3\. Space Organization and Optimization** * **Storage Strategy:** Determines logical and efficient product placement based on turnover rate, weight, volume, and special requirements (e.g., refrigeration, fragility). * **Continuous Improvement:** Analyzes logistics processes to minimize operational costs and maximize facility capacity. **What are the working conditions?** * Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM; Saturday, 9 AM–2 PM. * Work modality: On-site. * Workplace: Jr. Santa Rosa 1293, Cercado de Lima. **What do we offer?** * Training programs. * Personal development and career growth. * Positive work environment.
