Verifies compliance with legal and technical requirements Hello, we are a **mineral processing plant** located **in Chala**, and we are currently looking for a ***Mineral Procurement Settlement Officer***. **Job Requirements:** **Academic Qualifications:** Technical or professional degree in ***Metallurgical Engineering***, Industrial Engineering, or Administration. **Experience:** Minimum of ***1 to 3 years*** in ***mineral procurement*** within mining-sector companies; preferably in processing plants. Applicants without relevant experience should not apply. **Knowledge:** Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or others). Basic knowledge of export processes and Incoterms (desirable). Familiarity with inventory control and logistics (desirable). **Skills:** Organization and attention to detail. Effective oral and written communication. Analytical ability and follow-up capacity. Proactivity and customer orientation. Teamwork and ability to work under pressure. **Working Conditions:** Schedule: Full-time Work Modality: On-site, ***atypical work schedule***, 20 days on duty followed by 10 days off **(20x10\)** Work Location: ***Chala Office*** \- Arequipa. Support mineral reception at the plant: coordinate incoming shipments, validate waybills and required documentation. Prepare and record mineral purchase settlements, in coordination with the laboratory and accounting departments. Verify that suppliers comply with legal and technical requirements (valid REINFO registration, RUC, authorizations, certificates, etc.). Generate and archive commercial documents: quotations, contracts, purchase orders, settlements, and payment orders. Coordinate with logistics, safety, laboratory, and cashier departments to ensure efficient operational flow during mineral reception. Maintain an updated customer/supplier database: commercial and legal information, pricing, volumes, and terms. Prepare periodic reports on purchases, payments, account statements, and mineral intake projections. Support internal and external audits by providing documentary and operational support to the commercial department. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to commercial management and mineral reception processes.
