Position Summary: LC Consulting Corp SAC is seeking a Textile Assistant with experience in mass production and customer service to develop technical specifications, supervise production, and manage suppliers in the PPE and uniform sector. Key Highlights: 1. Development of technical specifications and supervision of textile production. 2. Supplier tracking and management throughout the production chain. 3. Participation in prototype development and continuous process improvement. **LC Consulting Corp SAC** operates two business units: Distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and Uniform Design/Manufacturing. Currently, the company is seeking a **Textile Assistant** with experience in mass production and customer service, based in Lima: * **Requirements:** * Graduate of Technical Studies related to Fashion Design, Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience (e.g., textile assistant, tailor, etc.). * Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, intermediate Excel, etc. * Knowledge of fabrics available in the local market. * **Responsibilities:** * Development of technical specifications for apparel. * Supervision and control of the production process. * Tracking industrial garment production via phone calls and on-site visits to suppliers. * Monitoring advance payments to suppliers per project order. * Submitting invoices to the Finance Department according to project reporting requirements. * Verifying delivery schedules and ensuring on-time delivery of ready merchandise. * Conducting field visits to textile workshops, collecting garments, performing quality checks, and transporting garments to other processes such as embroidery. * Purchasing sample fabrics and/or garments. * Quoting new garments (as specified) through supplier site visits. * Preparing garment orders, folding, and bagging. * Identifying opportunities for continuous cost reduction in supplier and material expenses. * Supplier comparison and analysis. * Availability for direct contact with production teams and for performing manual tasks when required. * Participating in the creation and evaluation of prototypes and samples, identifying improvement opportunities prior to large-scale production. * Ensuring efficient integration of design and development into production. * Supervising correct implementation of designs and improvements. * Providing support and training to the commercial team, fostering a collaborative, goal-oriented work environment. * Handling merchandise packages.
