Job Summary: We are seeking a Hydrobiology Analyst I for environmental monitoring and analysis, performing analyses, documenting data, and ensuring result quality. Key Highlights: 1. Key role in the quality management system ANALYTICAL LABORATORY is an accredited environmental laboratory dedicated to providing environmental monitoring and analysis services across various sectors including mining, hydrocarbons, industry, fisheries, etc. We are currently seeking **HYDROBIOLOGY ANALYST I \- CALLAO (ONLY GRADUATES\- DEGREE HOLDERS)** **REQUIREMENTS:** * **Graduate/Bachelor's degree or Degree holder** (mandatory) in Biology and/or with specialization in hydrobiology * Minimum 2 years of experience in the position. * ISO/IEC 17025 (mandatory). **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Comply with the Quality Management System (QMS) Policy and other management system guidelines. * Perform analyses according to established methodologies. * Record, document, and maintain all obtained data per the management system specifications. * Identify deviations, risks, or opportunities for improvement within the management system or procedures related to laboratory services; report to immediate supervisor. * Ensure application of assurance measures for result validity. * Participate in and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and facility cleanliness and order. * Implement and/or validate new laboratory methodologies in coordination with the supervisor. * Document uncertainty studies for testing methods. * Document validation studies for testing methods. * Verify operational status and proper functioning of laboratory equipment per authorization. * Monitor the laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and intermediate verification program. * Request necessary equipment required for assigned testing activities. * Meet reporting deadlines for results to the immediate supervisor. * Monitor status in coordination with the Laboratory Supervisor. * ***Assume the Laboratory Supervisor's duties during leaves, vacations, and/or any related activities.*** * Other duties as assigned and inherent to the position. **TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:** * Execution and/or implementation of analyses on environmental and/or food samples, as applicable. * Control and assurance of result validity. * Testing method validation (optional) * Measurement uncertainty estimation and evaluation (optional) * Familiarity with Minitab or other statistical software (optional) * Knowledge of air and microbiological surface sampling techniques (optional) **SKILLS:** * Responsible * Punctual * Analytical ability **BENEFITS:** * Timely monthly payments. * Professional growth.
