Collaborative and performance-driven work environment Construction Estimator / Flooring Estimator Company: Miami Bid Services E.I.R.L Location: Santiago de Surco, Lima, Perú Employment Type: Full\-Time (On\-Site)Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM About Us Imperial Flooring Solutions is a U.S.\-based commercial flooring contractor specializing in large\-scale projects throughout Florida. We provide estimating, project management, shop drawings, submittals, and construction support services for commercial, healthcare, hospitality, education, government, and corporate projects. We are seeking a highly organized and detail\-oriented Estimator to join our growing team in Lima, Peru. Position Summary The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project plans and specifications, performing quantity takeoffs, obtaining vendor pricing, preparing detailed cost estimates, and supporting the bidding process for commercial flooring projects throughout the United States. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines. Key Responsibilities * Review architectural drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents. * Perform quantity takeoffs for commercial flooring scopes. * Prepare detailed project estimates and bid proposals. * Solicit and analyze supplier quotations. * Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities. * Maintain accurate estimate records and bid documentation. * Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and clients when required. * Prepare bid clarifications, qualifications, and proposal letters. * Assist with change order pricing and budget estimates. * Participate in internal estimate review meetings. * Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. Preferred Flooring Experience Experience in one or more of the following: * Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) * Carpet * Tile \& Stone * Rubber Flooring * Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) * Moisture Mitigation Systems * Self\-Leveling Underlayments * Floor Preparation * Wall Base * Walk\-Off Systems * Commercial Flooring Systems Qualifications Required * Minimum 2 years of estimating experience in construction or commercial flooring. * Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Strong mathematical and analytical skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Advanced English (reading and writing required). * Ability to work from our office in Santiago de Surco. Preferred * Experience with commercial flooring projects. * Experience using PlanSwift, Bluebeam, On\-Screen Takeoff (OST), or similar takeoff software. * Experience estimating projects in the United States. * Knowledge of CSI divisions and commercial construction terminology. * Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
