Support geological mapping of underground mining operations. ### **Alpayana** Posted on 25/08/2026 1 vacancy available Full Time On-site Not specified Geology UM Americana is seeking a Junior Geologist Requirements Graduate or Bachelor's degree in Geology or Mining Engineering \- Quality Management specialization preferred* 1 year of professional experience in similar roles within the Geology* area Responsibilities Provide support in identifying and evaluating economic zones within areas designated by the direct supervisor*. Support the development of infill and exploration drilling programs to identify and define mineral resources in specific* areas. Support monitoring and control of the production program to ensure achievement of established production targets and optimize operational efficiency*. Support geological mapping of underground mining operations, together with systematic sampling, to understand geological structure and mineral resource distribution within the deposit*. Support logging of exploration drill holes along with core sampling*. Perform mineral extraction with the quality control geologist in mine production, and with the mine section management*. Participate in weekly and monthly Planning meetings to actively contribute to strategic and operational planning of mining activities*.
