Because the challenges you’ll take on reflect your ambitions! **Responsibilities and Authorities** **Responsibilities:** * Administer servers, operating systems, middleware platforms, and infrastructure services. * Perform installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching activities. * Monitor availability, capacity, performance, and resource consumption. * Respond to and resolve incidents, requests, and technical issues. * Participate in change management and scheduled maintenance activities. * Manage development, testing, and production environments. * Execute backups, restorations, and recovery validations. * Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning. * Manage users, permissions, technical access, and security configurations. * Review platform logs, alerts, and events. * Coordinate with network, security, database, application, and vendor teams. * Document configurations, procedures, topologies, dependencies, and logs. * Generate reports on availability, incidents, capacity, and SLA compliance. * Participate in platform migration, upgrade, integration, and enhancement projects. * Automate operational tasks using scripting and administration tools. * Keep operational and recovery procedures up to date. * Technology infrastructure management: Configure, install, and maintain servers, networks, operating systems, and other infrastructure components according to organizational needs. * Monitoring and issue resolution: Proactively monitor infrastructure to detect and resolve issues before they impact performance. Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and problems. * Preventive maintenance: Perform updates, patches, and security configurations on servers and operating systems to ensure stability and protection against threats. * Network management: Configure and administer network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Maintain network connectivity and security. * Data backup and recovery: Implement and maintain backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in case of failures or disasters. * Interdepartmental collaboration: Work closely with development, security, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with other technology solutions. * Technology evaluation: Research and evaluate new technologies and tools that can improve infrastructure efficiency and performance. * Infrastructure security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect infrastructure against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. * Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configuration, maintenance procedures, and implemented solutions. * Training and support: Provide technical training and support to users and internal staff regarding technology infrastructure. **Requirements and Qualifications** ### **Systems and Platforms** * Administration of Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems. * Administration of physical and virtual servers. * Knowledge of VMware, Hyper\-V, or other virtualization platforms. * Administration of web services and middleware. * Experience managing high-availability environments and load balancing. ### **Cloud and Technology Platforms** * Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or another cloud platform. * Administration of virtual machines, storage, networks, and managed services. * Knowledge of cloud monitoring, identity management, and cloud security. * Desired experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes. ### **Databases and Storage** * Knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle. * Basic administration of connections, permissions, backups, and performance. * Experience with storage, file systems, and capacity management. ### **Networking and Security** * Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, and firewalls. * Handling of digital certificates and secure protocols. * Knowledge of access management, privileged accounts, and security controls. * Application of hardening best practices and vulnerability management. ### **Automation and Tools** * Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python. * Monitoring and observability tools. * Ticketing and ITSM systems. * Git and version control tools (desirable). * Automation and CI/CD tools (desirable). **5\. Required Experience** ----------------------------- * Between **3 and 5 years of experience** in platform, infrastructure, or IT operations administration. * Experience in enterprise environments and high-availability platforms. * Experience handling incidents and requests under service-level agreements. * Experience administering production and non-production environments. * Experience executing changes, maintenance, and upgrades. * Desired experience in regulated sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, mining, or large corporations. **6\. Academic Qualifications** --------------------------- * A degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Electronics Engineering is mandatory. * Technical or professional qualification in fields related to infrastructure and IT operations. ### **Desirable** * Specialization in infrastructure, cloud, security, or systems administration. * ITIL Foundation certification. * Microsoft, Linux, VMware, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or security certifications. **7\. Specific Operational Functions** ---------------------------------------- * Daily review of critical platforms and services status. * Analysis of alerts and determination of service impact. * Escalation of critical incidents per established procedures. * Execution of contingency and recovery procedures. * Verification of successful backup execution. * Validation of changes following maintenance activities. * Capacity and environment growth monitoring. * Maintenance of an updated matrix of servers, services, owners, and dependencies. * Participation in maintenance windows and technical on-call shifts. * Support for internal and external audits by providing technical evidence. **8\.
