More information: http://coderio.com In this role, you will join the Architecture team, working on an *event\-driven multi\-cloud* platform (AWS \+ GCP) where we centralize publishing, consumption, and governance of domain events across the company. This is not a traditional transactional backend role. You will build and operate event flows, versioned contracts, infrastructure as code, and distributed consumers — with real-world requirements for idempotency, traceability, and least privilege. This position is designed with an explicit career path toward **Solutions Architect**: from day one, you will participate in design decisions, ADRs, and platform trade\-offs. ### **What You Can Expect From This Role (Responsibilities)** * **Design, implement, and operate event consumers and producers** (Lambdas and pods in Kubernetes) using messaging patterns such as SNS, SQS, and EventBridge. * **Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code in Terraform**, following tagging, naming, and security standards. * **Define and version event contracts** (CloudEvents / JSON Schema), respecting *breaking vs non\-breaking* change rules. * **Ensure robustness of event flows:** idempotency, retry handling, DLQs, ordering, and observability. * **Apply security discipline:** IAM with least privilege, no wildcards, and cross-cloud authentication. * **Participate in code reviews**, PRs with approval gates, and documentation of decisions (ADRs, handoffs per repository). * **Collaborate on designing new platform solutions** and propose architectural improvements. ### **Requirements** * **3+ years of backend development experience** (Mandatory). * **Strong proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript) and Python:** highly skilled in both, comfortable switching between them (Mandatory). * **Proven experience with event-driven architectures on AWS:** SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Lambda, S3 (Mandatory). * **Practical understanding of asynchronous messaging:** idempotency, *at\-least\-once* delivery, retries, DLQs, and ordering. * **Experience developing reusable libraries/packages:** internal API design, semantic versioning, and full packaging/publication lifecycle (npm / PyPI). * **Technical documentation discipline:** READMEs, changelogs, usage examples, and adoption guides for other teams. * **Ability to read and modify Terraform** (Infrastructure as code). * **Solid fundamentals of IAM and security** with least privilege in AWS. * **Database proficiency:** strong SQL (PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB). * **Git, Pull Requests, and CI/CD pipelines** (GitHub Actions). * **Valid AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or higher) certification** (Mandatory). * **Professional Spanish; technical English reading proficiency**. ### **Desirable** * Experience with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and Helm. * Exposure to GCP in addition to AWS (multi\-cloud environment). * Observability and distributed tracing. * Knowledge of CloudEvents and schema registries. * Analytical data handling (BigQuery). * Prior experience in fintech or regulated environments (SBS, CCE, CCI). * AWS Associate-level certifications (Developer or Solutions Architect) — highly valued for career progression. ### **Benefits** * Long-term commitment, with autonomy and direct impact on high-usage digital products. * Dynamic environment adopting advanced technologies and tools (AI applied to testing). * Collaborative international team. * Career development plan and growth opportunities within Coderio.
