Coordination with mining supervision and project team **Requirements:** * Mechanical Engineer or related degree. * Degree holder and licensed professional * Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) management for construction and electromechanical installation projects in the mining sector. * Proven experience in Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) activities at mining units. * Experience in inspection and quality assurance of structural steelwork, mechanical equipment, and piping systems. * Experience in non-conformance management, work front release, and quality documentation review. * Prior participation in projects developed for Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde. * Driver's license: A1 * Work schedule: 6x1 * Work location: Arequipa **Responsibilities:** * Implement and supervise Quality Assurance activities related to structural, mechanical, and piping disciplines during project execution. * Verify compliance with technical specifications, construction procedures, quality standards, and applicable contractual requirements for activities under responsibility. * Review and validate Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), work procedures, inspection protocols, and other technical documentation related to the discipline. * Conduct field inspections during pre-assembly, assembly, installation, testing, and release of mechanical, structural, and piping works. * Verify proper execution of inspections and tests performed by the contractor, ensuring compliance with established acceptance criteria. * Identify, record, and track non-conformances, observations, and corrective actions related to the specialty. * Participate in work front releases and inspection walkthroughs (Walkdowns) during various project phases. * Verify completeness and traceability of quality records that will constitute the Final Quality Dossier. * Prepare technical reports and periodic updates on the status of quality assurance activities within the discipline. * Maintain continuous coordination with Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde supervision, project team, and contractor companies to ensure achievement of service objectives.
