Job Summary: We are seeking a Resident Safety Engineer to supervise compliance with management tools, conduct audits, develop safety plans, and manage accident prevention programs at a mine. Management of accident prevention programs and investigations **Job Description** On behalf of our client, we are recruiting personnel to fill the position of Resident Safety Engineer for a mine in Ayacucho - Lucanas. **Responsibilities:** \- Supervise and evaluate compliance with management tools (PETS, IPERC, and PPE Matrix). \- Comply with procedures and policies of the safety, occupational health, and environmental management system. \- Conduct inspections and audits at unit facilities to ensure regulatory compliance. \- Develop and update the safety, occupational health, and environmental plan. \- Manage accident prevention programs. \- Participate in accident investigations. \- Submit immediate reports to direct supervisors regarding safety, health, and environment. \- Conduct daily training sessions for staff to support their job performance. \- Monitor the daily work assignments of project workers. \- Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor. **Requirements:** \- Licensed and registered Mining Engineer. \- Minimum five years of experience in the mining industry (Mandatory). \- Experience in underground mining. \- Residence in Ayacucho or surrounding areas. **Benefits:** \- Formal employment with all statutory benefits.
