Main Requirements for Automotive Mechanics Assistant: Education: Completed secondary education; preferably a graduate or current student of a technical program in Automotive Mechanics, Maintenance, or related fields. Experience: Prior experience of 6 months to 1 year in similar roles, preventive or corrective maintenance. Knowledge: Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Basic knowledge of brake systems, suspension systems, engines, and lubrication. Ability to identify tools to avoid delays. Physical and Personal Skills: Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy tools and stand for extended periods. High attention to detail for precision tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision. Proactiveness and quick problem-solving ability. Safety: Knowledge of occupational safety protocols. Common Responsibilities: Oil, filter, and lubrication changes. Disassembly, cleaning, and repair of parts under supervision. Assistance in diagnosing and repairing brakes and engines.
