Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to incidents, and support installations to ensure the company's facilities operate properly. Key Highlights: 1. Skill development across various maintenance areas. **Requirements:** * Graduate or certified technician in Maintenance, Electricity, Mechanics, Electromechanics, Refrigeration, Mechatronics, or related fields. * Minimum 1 year of experience in general, industrial, laboratory, plant, or general services maintenance. * Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, painting, carpentry, small equipment, preventive and corrective maintenance. * Desired experience in equipment, electrical systems, air conditioning, pumps, switchboards, or infrastructure maintenance. * Availability to work on-site and respond to operational requirements as needed. * Ability to perform manual tasks, transport materials, support installations, and handle incidents. * Desired knowledge of safety practices and use of PPE. * Availability to work in Villa El Salvador / Lurín. **Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities at company facilities. * Respond to incidents related to electricity, plumbing, painting, furniture, infrastructure, and general services. * Provide support to laboratory, inspection, sanitation, administration, and operations departments as required. * Conduct basic inspections of equipment, environments, lighting fixtures, power outlets, doors, windows, furniture, and auxiliary systems. * Support installation, relocation, repair, or conditioning of equipment, materials, and work areas. * Verify the good condition of assigned tools, maintenance equipment, and materials. * Coordinate with the area supervisor regarding maintenance requirements, material procurement, or external services. * Record performed activities and report detected incidents, risks, or needs. * Support housekeeping, technical cleaning, signage, and environmental conditioning tasks. * Comply with company safety regulations, PPE usage, and internal procedures. **Competencies:** * Responsibility and punctuality. * Proactivity in resolving incidents. * Orderliness and care in work. * Teamwork. * Effective communication. * Ability to respond to emergencies. * Commitment to safety and service quality.
