We are seeking a committed Underground Mining Electrical Technician who prioritizes safety and teamwork for heavy equipment maintenance.

A leading company in the mining sector is currently looking for an Underground Mining Electrical Technician to join our Mine Operations team.
We seek individuals committed to safety, teamwork, and adherence to operational standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
\- Graduate technician in Electricity, Electrotechnology, Heavy Machinery Maintenance, or related fields.
\- Minimum 2 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of trackless heavy equipment in underground mining.
\- Mandatory experience with CAT R1300, R1600, R2900, and/or R3000 SCOOPS.
\- Experience with PAUS Pscale 8\-T equipment.
\- Minimum 6 months of direct work experience in underground mining under the mining regime.
\- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance of low-profile loaders.
\- Availability to work under a 14x7 schedule.
\- Willingness to be assigned to different mining units in the central region and rotate between units as operationally required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
\- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on underground mining heavy equipment.
\- Conduct inspections, tests, adjustments, diagnostics, and maintenance on assigned equipment.
\- Execute work orders and record completed activities using checklists, backlogs, and technical reports.
\- Identify hazardous and risky conditions and apply appropriate safety controls.
\- Comply with Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) procedures and standards.
\- Report findings, needs, and improvement opportunities to the Maintenance Supervisor or Resident Engineer.
\- Ensure proper condition of tools, PPE, and equipment used during maintenance activities.
Important: Availability to be assigned to any mining unit in the central region—except San Rafael—and willingness to rotate based on operational demand.
Where will you work?
Operations are located at mining units in the central region, including:
Volcan: Chungar, San Cristóbal, Andaychagua, and Romina.
Nexa: Cerro Lindo and El Porvenir.
Minsur: Raura and San Rafael.
