Graduate in Chemical Engineering, Biology, Microbiology, or related field. **Position Summary:** Laboratory Assistant**Location:** Cajamarca \- Peru**Schedule:** Full-time**Reports to:** SHE\&QA Coordinator **Purpose of the Position:** To provide professional quality assistant support through the timely execution and communication of required quality tests and analyses, ensuring analytical safety and reliability of results, as well as food safety of our semi-finished products. **A Day in the Life of...** * Responsible for conducting physical and chemical, and microbiological analyses. * Responsible for sampling and monitoring milk collection routes and payment samples to comply with the physicochemical and microbiological monitoring plan. * Responsible for preparing reagents and materials for physicochemical and microbiological monitoring. * Responsible for implementing the Laboratory Self-Control Plan. * Responsible for performing laboratory inventory according to the established frequency. * Comply with ISO 17025 requirements and requirements of the Integrated Management System standards (ISO 17025, ISO 14001, and ISO 45000\). * Conduct periodic vertical method, BPL, and safety audits. * Know, apply, improve, and maintain up-to-date the Self-Control Plan (PAC), Chemical Compatibility Matrix, TSRA Risk Matrix, Quality Competency Matrix, and Analytical Competency Matrix. * Maintain updated inventory of materials and culture media, and ensure FIFO. **What Will Make You Successful:*** University graduate or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or other related fields. * Minimum 1 year of experience as a Laboratory Assistant or Intern in food, water, and environmental testing laboratories. * Knowledge of physicochemical and microbiological analysis techniques. * Knowledge of ISO 17025 standard\. **Competencies:*** Proactivity * Effective communication * Teamwork * Cooperation
