That’s how we continue to achieve extraordinary things in extraordinary locations. **Job description:** **Job Objective** Facilitate timely and sustainable access to land required for the Company’s mining activities, in order to achieve strategic objectives focused on operational expansion and sustainability, while optimizing resource use and minimizing risks. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and lead the implementation of the comprehensive land access strategy, both at portfolio and project levels, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and objectives, as well as with Sustainability, Legal Affairs and Land Access strategies and other Company departments. * Plan, supervise and execute land access processes, ensuring timely and appropriate availability of land for the development of the Company’s various projects. * Lead negotiations and formalize agreements and contracts with peasant communities, individual landowners and other stakeholders, ensuring transparent, traceable processes aligned with corporate principles of integrity and respect. * Identify, assess and mitigate legal, social and reputational risks associated with land access processes through preventive plans, risk analysis and other strategic actions that ensure responsible management aligned with corporate standards. * Ensure compliance with applicable national regulations, as well as with Company standards, policies and procedures, including anti-corruption controls, social due diligence, document management, and occupational health and safety policies. * Coordinate with the Legal Affairs and Land Access team to prepare and submit management reports to the Land Committee and Senior Management, consolidating information on planning, execution, costs, risks and progress against critical project milestones. * Contribute to managing internal and external conflicts related to this area, actively participating in their resolution and coordination with local, regional and national authorities, promoting sustainable solutions and strengthening trust-based relationships with stakeholders. * Integrate environmental sustainability, social responsibility and corporate governance practices into all land management activities. * Supervise financial control of land access processes, ensuring appropriate budget planning, rigorous tracking of execution, and timely accreditation and recording of payments and disbursements, in accordance with Company policies. * Participate in planning and provide support for relocation and resettlement processes affecting current landowners impacted by projects, ensuring orderly management aligned with the Company’s social and legal commitments. **Requirements** **Education** * Bachelor’s degree and professional license (registered) in Law, Forestry Engineering, Anthropology, Social Sciences or related fields. * Specialization desirable in Natural Resource Management, Territorial Development, Social Management, Land Access Management and/or Project Management. * Postgraduate studies and/or Master’s degree desirable in Applied Finance and Investments, Business Administration (MBA) or related disciplines. **Experience** * Minimum 12 years’ experience in similar roles and/or positions. **Technical Knowledge and Skills** * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Advanced-level English language proficiency, both oral and written, desirable. * Category A1 driver’s license held for more than five years. * Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria, including sustainability practices, social responsibility and corporate governance. * Knowledge of PMO (Project Management Office), including project planning, management, evaluation and monitoring. * Knowledge of laws and regulations related to land ownership and access. * Knowledge of international standards and guidelines related to land access, use and acquisition. * Knowledge of the mining industry and its project development processes. * Strong negotiation and agreement management skills with diverse stakeholder groups. * Knowledge of community engagement, social management and stakeholder management. **Conditions** * Based in Chiclayo * Rotational schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off Visit our website and register for instant job alerts at First Quantum Careers Follow us for the latest news at LinkedIn If you are already a First Quantum employee, log into your **Workday** account \> **Career Hub** \> **Browse Jobs** to apply internally for this opportunity.
