We invite you to join our team as the new **Quality Engineer** and be part of a greener future. **Job Description** The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all wind power project deliverables meet contractual requirements, technical specifications, Statkraft’s quality standards, and applicable regulations during procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. This role supports the Project Manager and Construction Manager by planning, monitoring, verifying, and documenting quality performance across all work packages. **Key Responsibilities** **1\. Quality Planning and Systems** * Develop, maintain, and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), aligned with Statkraft’s requirements and contractual annexes. * Review and approve Contractors’ Quality Management Plans (QMP / QA\-QC) prior to commencement of activities. * Ensure quality requirements are clearly defined in contracts and technical documentation. **2\. Quality in Procurement and Manufacturing** * Support procurement and engineering teams during tendering and contracting phases on quality-related matters. * Plan and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for major equipment (e.g., wind turbines, transformers, substations). * Review manufacturing documentation, inspection reports, and certificates. **3\. Quality Assurance and Control during Construction** * Monitor construction activities to verify compliance with: * Conduct on-site inspections and audits (civil, electrical, mechanical, and grid interface works). * Verify proper implementation of QA/QC procedures by contractors. **4\. Non-Conformities and Corrective Actions** * Identify, document, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). * Track corrective and preventive actions to closure. * Analyze recurrence trends and propose improvements. **5\. Documentation and Handover** * Ensure quality records are complete, accurate, and stored in project systems (e.g., SCEPTRE / INTERAXO). * Review and approve *as\-built* documentation, test records, and certificates. * Support Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, and Taking\-Over processes. * Ensure documentation is ready for transfer to O\&M. **6\. Reporting and Interface Management** * Report quality status, risks, and KPIs to the Project Manager and Construction Manager. * Participate in project meetings and reviews with contractors. * Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, HSS, and O\&M to ensure integrated delivery. **Authority** * Halt or recommend suspension of work due to critical quality non-compliance. * Reject work, materials, or documentation failing to meet contractual requirements. * Request corrective actions from contractors. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Materials, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields. * 6\-8 years of experience leading quality control for large-scale construction projects; preferably in Electromechanical disciplines. * Knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001\. * Familiarity with Technical Quality Standards (ASTM, ACI, NTP, etc.). * Proficiency in ASME, AWS, and API standards. * Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD. **Additional Information** * Health insurance, Statutory Life Insurance, SCTR. * Bonuses. * Location: Piura. * Temporary position.
