




Job Summary: The Cross Docking Associate will play a key role in physical operations, ensuring the seamless, organized, and secure flow of goods, safeguarding inventory integrity and correct package placement. As a **Cross Docking Associate**, you will be a pivotal piece at the core of our physical operations, ensuring that the flow of goods within the warehouse is seamless, organized, and secure. Your primary mission is to guarantee inventory integrity and correct package placement so that the last-mile process runs error-free. You will be responsible for ensuring every package is in the right place, at the right time, and under optimal conditions for dispatch or return. #### **Main Responsibilities** **Inventory Management and Preservation** * Conduct rigorous inventory control of packages during their stay at the cross-docking center. * Ensure cargo preservation and careful handling, guaranteeing no damage occurs during handling or temporary storage. * Immediately report any inventory anomalies or discrepancies to operations supervisors. **Floor Zoning and Organization** * Execute physical package zoning on the warehouse floor strictly following route planning. * Sort cargo by geographic zones or service types to facilitate the loading process. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area to ensure smooth and safe operations. **Vehicle Loading and Dispatch** * Organize and supervise the loading sequence in the warehouse for drivers, ensuring the loading order optimizes on-route deliveries. * Coordinate with drivers to receive their assigned packages, verifying that the load matches the outbound manifests. * Expedite vehicle flow at the loading dock to meet scheduled departure times. **Returns and Legalization Management** * Lead the legalization and returns process, ensuring each package returning to the warehouse is correctly registered in the system. * Categorize returns by reason (failed delivery, damage, exchange) and manage their location for reprocessing or return to the original customer. * Maintain communication with the Customer Service and Operations teams to resolve special cases of unsuccessful deliveries. #### **Profile Requirements** * Prior experience in warehouse operations, distribution centers, or last-mile logistics (preferred). * Physical capability to handle cargo and willingness to work in dynamic warehouse environments. * Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for inventory management. * Ability to work collaboratively and under dispatch time targets. * Basic proficiency with digital tools and mobile devices for process recording. * Proactive attitude toward resolving operational issues in real time. **Now comes the best part:** We are a team full of happy and motivated people.
