Position Summary: Database developer with experience in advanced SQL, stored procedures, and business logic for mission-critical systems in the education sector. Key Highlights: 1. Implementation of robust transactional processes A public entity in the Education Sector requires: Contract Type: Service Order Work Modality: Remote (on-site as coordinated) Total Vacancies: 2 **Service Objective:** To develop and implement business logic directly in the database engine (MySQL and/or SQL Server) using stored procedures, functions, triggers, and transactional structures, ensuring consistency, traceability, and efficiency of the institution's mission-critical systems. **Minimum Requirements:** · **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. · **General Experience:** Minimum 5 years in public and/or private sector administration. · **Specific Experience:** Minimum 4 years in public and/or private sector administration, directly developing stored procedures and business logic in databases (MySQL and/or SQL Server engines). · **Mandatory Knowledge:** \- Proficiency in advanced SQL (beyond SELECT statements): use of cursors, subqueries, complex joins, error handling, and transactions. \- Proficiency in designing and implementing embedded database business logic: validations, conditional structures, business rules, and SQL-based report generation. \- Experience in designing and executing algorithms for bulk data loading. \- Version control and technical documentation (e.g., change control for functions/procedures/dictionaries). **Desirable Qualifications:** Basic knowledge of repository management using GitLab. Agile methodologies for project management. Functional knowledge of public or educational systems. **Main Responsibilities:** · Design, code, and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other SQL objects required by implemented web applications. · Develop robust transactional processes reflecting business rules and validations established by end-user departments. · Implement initial data loading, transformation, and cleansing processes from external files. · Document implemented logic technically according to team standards. · Provide support to frontend/backend development teams to ensure compliance with business workflows. **Important Note:** This position is **not intended for BI, dashboard, or cloud data engineering profiles**. It is not intended for database administrators. Specific expertise in SQL logic development at the stored procedure level is required.
