




Position Summary: We are seeking a customs-experienced professional to advise clients, review documentation, coordinate customs clearances, and manage complex customs procedures. Coordination and control of customs formalities **Requirements:** * Minimum 2 years of experience as a Customs Specialist or Customer Service representative at a customs agency. * Knowledge of special agreements, Amazonia Law, and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). * Experience in preparing and tracking case files. * In-depth knowledge of customs regimes 10, 40, and temporary regimes, as well as anticipatory customs clearances. * SENASA procedures. * VUCE procedures. * SINTAD system. **Responsibilities:** * Advise clients on matters related to customs regulations. * Review received documentation to verify absence of errors or omissions; coordinate with the client for corrections if required. * . Open orders in SINTAD and assign them to the customs liquidator. * Daily reporting of customs clearance status to clients and immediate supervisor. * Verify proforma invoices received from the commercial department to prevent billing errors. * Maintain oversight of clients' customs clearances. * Forward files to the pickup department after coordinating reception hours, requesting labor crews, or arranging any other special services required by the client—such notifications must be sent to that department. * Coordinate and carry out appropriate cargo routing for clients. * Check applicable free days for demurrage and storage to keep clients informed and maintain accurate counts to avoid incurring such additional costs. * Submit requests via the VUCE system to schedule SENASA inspections. * Schedule SERFOR inspections. Monitor and control customs clearances considering deadlines. * Coordinate with Customs Authorities and/or BOE to schedule physical inspections (date, time, location, etc.). * Generate export matrices and Verified Gross Mass (VGM) information for submission to the shipping line operator or Freight Forwarder. Deliver completed files—including all documents required by Customs under current legislation—to the Archives Department.
