Job Summary: We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic I to perform diagnostics, component and system repairs, and coordinate scheduled maintenance work at a mining unit. Key Highlights: 1. General repair of braking, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems At Americana Mining Unit, we are looking for a **HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC I** **Requirements:** * Academic Qualification: Mechanical Technician or related field. * Minimum Experience: 3 years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. * Knowledge of repairing heavy equipment components (dump trucks, heavy machinery). * Ability to read technical drawings. * Proficiency with diagnostic tools (Vcads, ET). **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform diagnostics using Vcads and ET. * Repair transmissions. * Repair steering gearboxes and transmissions. * Dismantle and assemble hydraulic cylinders. * Dismantle and assemble engines. * Perform general repair of braking systems. * Perform general repair of steering systems. * Perform general repair of suspension systems. * Perform general repair of hydraulic systems. * Coordinate scheduled maintenance tasks for equipment servicing. * Timely completion of backlog items. * Evaluate and identify operational improvement opportunities. * Prepare daily work reports. **Benefits:** * All statutory benefits. * Full coverage of meals and accommodation. * Availability to work under a 14-days-on/7-days-off schedule. * Punctual salary payments. * Transportation to the mining unit from Lima, La Oroya, Huancayo, Pasco, and Jauja.
