We are looking for a Protection Systems Engineer for Electrical Substations **You will make a difference by:** * Designing and engineering the system down to the level of detail required to meet customer requirements. * Defining products, components, and subsystems to be used, along with their specific characteristics. * Configuring components and subsystems according to project requirements. * Developing detailed integration solutions ensuring interaction among various elements as a functional unit. * Leading system implementation with the required functionality and preparing corresponding design documentation. * Coordinating project execution units (manufacturing, procurement, logistics, etc.) when necessary. * Developing functional specifications for protection and reactor systems. * Conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) for protection systems in high- and extra-high-voltage power substations. * Performing protection equipment tests across various bay types: transformers, transmission lines, compensation banks, medium-voltage switchgear, reactors, bus differential relays, among others. * Preparing commissioning work plans and technical procedures for protection systems. **Your profile includes:** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 4 years of experience in configuration and testing (FAT/SAT) of protection systems for high- and extra-high-voltage electrical substations. * Minimum 4 years of experience in commissioning protection systems in high- and extra-high-voltage electrical substations. * Proficiency in configuring substation protection devices for secondary and primary installations, with emphasis on Series 110 and 336 devices. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. * Key competencies: decision-making, results orientation, customer focus, and drive for innovation. * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally independently. * Responsible, proactive, self-motivated, honest, and committed to continuous learning. * Genuine interest in developing expertise in protection and automation systems within the energy sector (electrical substations and power generation plants). * Desired: active professional registration and license. * Desired: knowledge and operation of measurement instruments such as CPC100 and CMC356 (protection system analyzer and three-phase current injector) for secondary and primary installations. * Desired: knowledge of Process Bus. * Desired: experience in configuration and testing of relays from other market brands. * Desired: ability to conduct electrical studies. **We offer you:** * A diverse and inclusive culture where every perspective is valued. * Access to more than 1,000 professional learning and development courses. * Work-life balance enabling personal and professional growth. * A collaborative work environment focused on innovation and cutting-edge technology.
