Your journey toward impact and innovation begins here at WSP! **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct geotechnical inspections to assess soil and rock conditions. * Supervise slope, excavation, and geotechnical structure stability. * Verify proper execution of activities such as backfilling, compaction, drainage, and retaining works. * Ensure compliance with project technical specifications, standards, and drawings. * Supervise and validate field and laboratory tests (density, moisture content, strength, permeability, etc.). * Control quality of materials, soils, rocks, and geosynthetics used in construction. * Plan and supervise exploration campaigns (drilling, test pits, in-situ testing). * Coordinate geotechnical laboratory testing programs. * Validate quality and reliability of collected data. * Interpret results from testing, instrumentation, and geotechnical monitoring. * Evaluate ground behavior under design and construction conditions. * Identify deviations and propose corrective actions. * Identify and assess risks related to stability, settlement, seepage, or geotechnical failure. * Propose and implement mitigation and control measures. * Participate in structural safety and reliability analyses. * Review and validate geotechnical reports and designs prepared by third parties. Ensure compatibility among design, actual site conditions, and construction.
